Bosque del Apache

My friend, Barbara, and I just took a road trip to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge to see the cranes and snow geese and other birds that hang out there in the winter. It was really amazing! It was a beautiful, temperate day; blue sky and sunshine. The squawking of the geese as they fluttered overhead, the rattling sound of the cranes as they soared on by… We even saw a couple of Blue Herons! Wonderful day!
